Our Story

A Little Creativity, A Lot of Heart, and a Touch of Filipino Heritage

Bloom & Likha Shop began with a simple love for creativity and the joy of making something meaningful with my own hands.

As a Filipino living in Texas, I wanted to create something that would allow me to express my creativity while keeping a little piece of my culture close to my heart. What started as a small creative passion gradually grew into a dream of sharing handmade creations, Filipino-inspired crafts, and meaningful products with others.

The word “Bloom” represents growth, new beginnings, and the courage to let a dream flourish. “Likha,” a Filipino word meaning to create, represents the imagination, effort, and heart that go into every creation. Together, Bloom & Likha reflects what this little shop means to me: growing through creativity and turning simple ideas into something special.

From colorful handmade parols that celebrate Filipino Christmas traditions to bows, accessories, and Filipino-inspired creations, every project gives me another opportunity to bring an idea to life. I also love creating digital learning materials and products that help families connect with Filipino words, culture, and traditions.

As a mother, I have come to appreciate even more the beauty of handmade things—the time, patience, and love behind each little detail. Running this shop allows me to embrace my creativity, explore new ideas, and build something meaningful while sharing a part of who I am.
